January through March is typically the slow season for family photography, and I get that. Christmas cards have been sent, the colorful fall leaves have disappeared, and everyone is hunkered down for the grey, cold season in Richmond.

But this time of year is perfect for my favorite kind of in-home lifestyle family photography session. Bare feet, window light, cozy sweaters. Maybe a cup of coffee or tea. It’s all about the hygge vibes of being cuddled up with family.

I’m offering these sweater weather in-home sessions for the winter months this year.
