Paige is truly the queen of capturing ordinary magic. I feel like a lot of family photos can feel forced or staged, and she comes in and just lets your family breathe and be normal and be - you. And then somehow find the moments of magic in the mids of the chaos. It's such a gift.
This is the quintessential Sunday Vibes experience!
I lightly direct where it's needed to get the best light and emotion, while also documenting unscripted family moments as they unfold.

Paige is an incredibly gifted photographer who makes her magic look effortless! She has been taking our family photos (and some for my creative business) for many years and I treasure the entire album every single time. What a gift it is to have these life moments captured! ♥️

Paige is one of the best family photographers in town, and if you manage to book a slot with her, you're pretty much getting the best deal you can get while still getting absolutely top-tier photos. Doesn't hurt that she's one of the kindest people I've ever met, either. Her relaxed style and not-overly-prescriptive backdrops and direction just suit our crew very well, and she's comfortable engaging with kids of all ages. Even a tween in a surly mood will reluctantly declare, "Okay, that was fun."

Prior to your session with me, I'll send you a detailed guide with lots of inspiration and advice for getting the most out of your session, included tips on what to wear, sample color palettes, etc! I always offer to be as involved in the wardrobe selection as you want me to be, whether that's texting back and forth about outfit options or sending inspiration boards with links to specific items/shops I recommend.
Edited online galleries are delivered within 2-3 weeks of the session date!
I always allow for a session to be rescheduled if the weather is truly not conducive to photos, and certainly if I or someone in your family gets sick! I take on a limited number of sessions per month so that I can remain flexible in situations like this!
I no longer offer minis! Over the years of documenting families, I have fallen in love with a slower-paced, intentional, artful approach to shooting, which just can't happen in a mini session environment.
Yes! I have a soft spot for extended family sessions. For some families, it can be rare to get everyone in the same place at the same time, so that alone makes it magical to document. I treat extended families with the same laid-back, connection-first approach that I use for any other session, and I love to deliver images that show sincere laughter, honest affection, and those nuanced relationships between siblings, grandparents, grandchildren, cousins, aunts, and uncles.
After photographing hundreds of families in the last decade, I can truly say I’ve seen a LOT of different environments and challenges.
Wild kids, calm kids, sad kids, hyper kids, kids of literally every age and stage of development. I’ve shot in harsh midday light, indoor low light at bedtime, lamp light and golden hour light. Ive done sessions with puppies, adult dogs, cats, horses, chickens, and sheep 😅Ive shot in private settings and public places with tons of people around. I’ve shot in locations I’m totally familiar with and ones I’ve never stepped foot in before.
I’ve worked with dads who HATE being photographed and dads who love it. I’ve documented moms who love being in front of the camera and ones who truly dread it.
I’ve shot in spaces that totally inspire me and ones that I’ve found challenging.
And through it all, I’ve loved the creative challenge of making beautiful, meaningful images in any environment.
All that to say, I now feel totally confident that we can create meaningful family art together, no matter what happens!
